This oversized Gummi Bear looks like he has enjoyed too many treats! His round belly overwhelms his thin limbs and hangs down well past his knees. He appears to be struggling to catch his breath as he is too large to move with ease. In order to give this image its fullest effect, choose contrasting colors to emphasize the bear’s size. Use dark colors such as blue or black to draw attention to his round shape while lighter colors like yellow, pink, and orange are used to fill in the details of his slim extremities. Fill in the outline of the bear with a solid color, like brown, to give a sense of continuity. When finished, the difference between the bear’s belly and limbs should be clear.
