Merida is locked away in a small, cold room with no visible windows or unlocked doors. Sitting in the corner of the room, she has her knees brought up to her chest, her head bowed and her long, red hair cascading down her back. Her green eyes seem desperate, yet determined, as she stares at the locked door that marks her captivity. To bring this image to life, we suggest using hues of yellow, gray, and green. The walls should be painted a sad yellow, as if this room is dreary and lacks any joy. The door should be painted an intimidating gray to represent the barrier between her and her freedom. We then suggest painting Merida in shades of green to express her perseverance and courage. By adding color and contrast to this image, it is possible to bring more life, emotion, and description to the scene.
