Dodo bird coloring page

The Dodo bird is a plump, flightless bird found only on the island of Mauritius. It has a white beak and feet, and wings too small to fly.
This unique, stocky Dodo bird is a beautiful sight! Its feathery brown body is round and plump, and it has white feet and a bright, contrasting white beak. Accentuated by its gracefulness, it stands in contrast with its stunted wings that cannot take it to flight. The only way to catch a glimpse of this enchanting bird is to journey to Mauritius, its home nestled in the forests. To bring this coloring page to life, I suggest beginning by coloring the Dodo in an earthy brown tone. Its beak and feet should be painted in brilliant white, followed by a warm yellow for the tip of its beak. For the Dodo’s wings, select a lighter shade for the feathered edges to highlight the contrast between the bird’s body and wings. Finish it off with some green leaves from the Mauritian forests, and possibly a few other light and playful colors.
