Alice and Rosa were in the middle of an enchanted forest, surrounded by lush trees, lush foliage and wildflowers. In front of them, a large white rabbit with a pocket watch in its hand was standing. Alice looked very upset while Rosa, standing next to her, was looking curiously at the rabbit. To add to the grandness of the scene, Alice was sitting on a toadstool. To capture the painterly feel of the picture and bring out the vivid colors of the forest, I would use hues of blues, greens and whites in the background. For the characters, I would use colors that give off a bright, dream-like effect, like sky blues for Alice’s dress and pale pinks for Rosa’s dress. The rabbit can be colored in a shade of gray with black for shading. The pocket watch can be painted gold and the toadstool in a shade of pink. This will bring the fairytale-like essence to life.
