While the victory has come at a price, Hiccup and Toothless have emerged unscathed ready to face the new day.
To colour this scene, I would choose a dark night sky, full of thick and churning clouds, while the cliff and sea could be a deep, slaty grey. Hiccup’s clothing should be a deep, autumnal yellow and his skin a warm, sandy shade, while Toothless’s scales should be deep and crimson to show their strength and fire. And, to bring out the heroes’ courage and resilience in the face of fear, suggest the full moon and stars in the sky are a bright, golden hue.
