I think it would be interesting to try and capture the calmness of the scene by using shades of blues and greens combined with tints of yellow and white. For the sky, select a pale sky blue and layer in white for the clouds. For the water, use green and blue hues. For the sailboat, apply white for the hull and tan, brown, or dark blue for the sails and cabin. Finally, for the beach and lighthouse, use some shades of yellow, earthy browns, and off-whites.
