The heron is an imposing bird. Its tall legs, long neck, and slender beak are matte gray, and its feathers are pure white. It stands majestically on an island in the middle of a wide, peaceful river. To bring out the beauty of the bird and the serenity of its surroundings, I would color the heron with a slightly brighter hue of gray and a bit of blue shimmer on its feathers. At its feet, I would add hues of blue, green, and brown to bring out the complexity of the rocky shore. Above the bird, the sky is filled with different shades of blue and white puffy clouds on a sunny day.
