This summer, a group of children have made the best of the hot day by playing by the river and cooling off in the water. A few of the kids have hopped onto some of the rocks and are sitting on them while they explore the view of the scenery beyond. Further back, the brightness of the trees and mountains cut through the sky, creating a soothing image and welcoming the children to explore and have fun.
For this image, I suggest using bright and summery colors, contrasting the lush greens of the trees and the cool blues of the river. Use yellows and oranges to bring warmth and excitement to the rock-sitting children and the blue and white of the sky to add a touch of peacefulness. Lastly, combine the earthy shades of the mountains to voice the mystery and adventure of their journey. This is the perfect adorable scene to break out the crayons!
