Giraffe coloring page

Giraffes are long, tall mammals found in Africa; some subspecies are 14.5 to 19 feet high and can weigh up to 1,930 lbs. Its long neck thought to help with high leaves, but also spotting predators, and competing for mates.
This beautiful coloring page features a giraffe, the tallest land animal on earth. Its long neck is one of the creature's most distinguishing features, and can reach up to 4.8 meters in length! The page includes the nine distinct subspecies of giraffes, each species with its own unique coloring patterns. For example, the Rothschild’s and Reticulated Giraffes both have distinctive light brown splotched and mottled patterns while the West African Giraffe has darker patches on a golden yellow background. Other species include the Masai, Thornicroft, and Nubian Giraffe. For this page, we suggest adding lots of playful colors to highlight the individual nature of each species. Color them in a way that brings out the variations in their patterns and use warm browns, oranges, and yellows to bring out the giraffe’s natural habitat. Use bright greens to highlight the foliage of the savannah, and finish the page with vast blues of the African horizon. We also recommend adding a few golden sunbursts around the page, to represent the beautiful African skies.
